Update

Super quick post...Tay went in at 7:30. Hardest thing I've ever had to go through. Went on heart lung machine at 10. Surgery took 1 hour which way WAY faster than surgeon expected! That's GREAT news! They are warming her up now to take her off heart lung machine and then they'll do an echo and come talk to us. I'll try and continue updating...thanks for all the thoughts and prayers!!!!!

Taylee went in for her first surgery, The Glenn. It was the BEST and WORST day all in one. It was the best day because thr surgery went so well. It was the worst day because it was the HARDEST thing we've ever had to go through.With her CRAZY anatomy of her heart, on top of doing The Glenn, the surgeon also had to sew three of her pulmanary veins into the back of her heart. She did AWESOME and had NO problems getting back onto her diet (which isn't a "diet" if you ask me! :) ) We were able to bring her home on November 15, 2010 and we couldn't be any happier! :)

"It's a beautiful day up in heaven. Jesus is rounding up his tiniest angels to go live on earth and be born. One of the sweetest angels says to Jesus "I don't want to leave. I like it here and I will miss you." He reassures the scared little angel that everything will be okay, and that she is just going for a visit. She is still not swayed. Then Jesus gives the angel more details about his plan. He says, "When you are born, your mommy and daddy will be scared, so you have to be strong, and when you feel weak just remember that I have the other half of your heart. Enjoy your time with your family; play and laugh everyday. And when it's time to come back to heaven, I will make your heart whole again.
