our sweet baby girl Taylee has finally made it! and OH what a miracle she is! so the story.....after going 3 days over my due date we decided to be induced. it was time for this little girl to be here! so we got to the hospital late. ha ha ha. signed in and got to the room. they gave me my i.v. which didn't work the first time so they had to poke me again. yep! i pretty much ALMOST passed out! ha ha ha. no lie. anywho, so they checked me and i was still a 2 and 70%. so i figured with the pitocin i would get rollin. 4 hours later at 2pm they checked me and i was THE SAME!!!! AHHH!!! i've been a 2 and 70% for FOREVER!!! ha ha ha. so they broke my water and as soon as that was done i was a 3 plus and about 90%. wow! i was gonna get the epidural beforei had my water broken but i wasn't in pain so they just did it. well, about 2 minutes later the pain began! ha ha ha. i was gonna be a tough girl and go as long as i could and that didn't last long. ha ha ha. so i had the epi-man come in and talk to me and he talked me into getting it when i did. i was nervous but i guess i handled it pretty well! ten to fifteen minutes later i was a happy girl. pain free. except for on the left side. the pain would not go away so he had to come back in and adjust the tube. then after laying on my left side for a little it kicked in. i was kinda pooped by now so we tried to take a nap. but i couldn't fall asleep. go figure. so hours later they checked me again and i was a 7. oh i felt like this little girl was NEVER gonna be here! now the pain is starting to come on again. i thought getting an epi would get rid of the pain?! WOW! that TOTALLY didnt work. ha ha ha. so the epi-man came in and gave me a stronger dose and it worked GOOD!!! for about an hour. ha ha ha! then the good ol pain came back. HARD! epi-man came BACK in and "gave me another dose" ....or so i thought! apparently he gave me a dose of something else that didn't even TOUCH the pain! so here i am at an 8 and not pain free. ha ha ha! oh well i guess! they wheeled me into the room that i was going to deliver in around 11:30. they checked me and i was a 9! what?! she's not even gonna be born today?!?! an hour later they checked me and i was a 10! FINALLY! well, a ten and having STRONG contrations with an epi that didn't work means......EXAUSTED! and the work was just about to begin! i began pushing and was so pooped! but i just kept pushing! i had no other way of getting her out! after each set of pushes i would look at the doctor and say....am i even DOING ANYTHING?!?! IS IT EVEN WORKING?!?! he just said...yeah. i was like...that was not very believeable! so i just kept pushing. one hour.......an hour and fifteen minutes......an hour and forty five minutes......by this time i was passing out between contractions! i don't even remember between each one or even pushing! i don't even remember pusing my baby girl out!!! how sad!!! we were planning on not being able to really see her or hold her because of her situation but guess what!!! they threw her on my chest for about 10 seconds and i got to give her a kiss! :) AMAZING! she was SO CUTE! all i remember was all the hair she had! ha ha ha. then they tossed her off and took her away. we had to wait an hour before we got to see her for about ten minutes then they took her over to primary childrens. we slept for about 3 hours then daddy woke up to go see her and i laid in bed. ha ha ha. well! that's the scoop! :) after 16 hours of labor and 2 hours of pushing she FINALLY made it!!!!!!! and we are SO happy and love her to PIECES!!! her is a pic of a pic that the nurse took. :)
our little bug was 7lbs 11oz and 21" long with TONS of hair and SO CUTE!!!
