2 years old!

well! here we are! celebrating our little miracle's 2nd birthday!!! we couldn't be more happy and blessed to have this sweet little girl in our lives! we had our family come over for some pizza and cupcakes and Taylee had a ball playing with her cousins and opening her presents! here are the pics from the day...

we got Tay's 2 year old pics taken and i absolutely LOVE them!!! they totally show off her sass, spunk, sweet little self!

She is the cutest and it makes me so happy that she is doing so well. What a special little cutie. Love the pics! and thats so cool she was on TV! ;)

Taylee went in for her first surgery, The Glenn. It was the BEST and WORST day all in one. It was the best day because thr surgery went so well. It was the worst day because it was the HARDEST thing we've ever had to go through.With her CRAZY anatomy of her heart, on top of doing The Glenn, the surgeon also had to sew three of her pulmanary veins into the back of her heart. She did AWESOME and had NO problems getting back onto her diet (which isn't a "diet" if you ask me! :) ) We were able to bring her home on November 15, 2010 and we couldn't be any happier! :)

"It's a beautiful day up in heaven. Jesus is rounding up his tiniest angels to go live on earth and be born. One of the sweetest angels says to Jesus "I don't want to leave. I like it here and I will miss you." He reassures the scared little angel that everything will be okay, and that she is just going for a visit. She is still not swayed. So Jesus kneels down, and says, "How about if you leave half of your heart here with me and take the other half with you, will that be okay?" The angel smiles and says, "I guess that will work." But the little angel is still scared. She asks,"Will I be okay with only half of my heart?" Jesus replies,"Of course you will, I have other angels there that will help out, and you will be fine." Then Jesus gives the angel more details about his plan. He says, "When you are born, your mommy and daddy will be scared, so you have to be strong, and when you feel weak just remember that I have the other half of your heart. Enjoy your time with your family; play and laugh everyday. And when it's time to come back to heaven, I will make your heart whole again.
