wow! can i just tell you what a MIRACLE our little baby girl is?!?! i don't even know what to say!!! she is one week old today and she has been doing SO GOOD! all of the nurses and doctors are SHOCKED with how well she is doing for as many problems she has with her little heart. since she's been here she's been eating AND pooping like a CHAMP! :) she has been keeping her oxygen level right where it needs to be which is GREAT! she is keeping her levels just right during feedings and they are no longer dropping like they use to! she even got to nurse for the first time today and did AWESOME!!! today was the "big day" and we met with the doctors to hear what the plan was for her. before she was here we were told that we should not plan on being able to hold her and expect a LONG stay at the hospital. well! amazingly we were told today that we will be bringing her home this weekend!!!! AMAZING!!! after the doctors left i cried! what a miracle! being able to bring her home a week after she was born was not even an on our minds and here we are going to be able to!!! she will still need surgery on her little heart but we get to bring her home and make her fat before she goes in at about 4-6 months. we are SO happy and SO BLESSED!!!! we cannot thank everyone enough for all of the thoughts and prayers for this little girl! :) here are a couple pics of our sweet baby.....
